Here at Nah Zone, we’ve been thrashing the replay button on Shadow God Raka and LMC’s long awaited Supernova EP. Today marks a week since Supernova day and despite listening to it everyday since it dropped - we aren’t sick of it at all. I don’t think we ever will be, to be honest.
Supernova EP begins with Tokyo Glo where Raka sets the melancholic trap tone for rest of the tracklist whilst proclaiming the strength of his current position. Supernova, Shibuya and Luv Me further reinforces the self-assurance Raka has, as well as touching on the coping mechanisms of drugs, alcohol and sex that our generation use to numb living angst. The last track and our personal favourite, Glo Up, ends the EP with Raka’s vocals meshing perfectly over LMC’s production.
