Tucked away in seaside Browns Bay you will find one of Auckland’s widely considered best cheap eat destinations - Ramen Takara. They serve up delicious ramen complimented by side dishes that hit the mark every time.

Chef/Owner Yuki Yamaguchi-Lewin learnt her trade while working at her fathers ramen bar in Tokyo. Moving to New Zealand and opening Takara 11 years ago, she has been warming our hearts with her freshly made broth and service that makes you feel at home ever since.
